WILDFLOWER MEADOW | DESKTOP

Hi! My name is Teresa Freitas, and I’m a photographer and content creator from Lisbon, Portugal. I recently developed two preset packs for Lightroom and Photoshop (Wildflower Meadow & Superbloom) that are inspired by my taste for pastel colors in the places I visit and subjects I shoot. A lot of people ask me how to attain these tones while adding a painterly quality to their images, so I created these presets to help achieve this goal. Wildflower Meadow has less-saturated and muted colors for an ethereal mood — let’s take a look at each of the presets in this package!

BEFORE

PRICKLY POPPY

Pale colors for some pure pastels

EVENING PRIMROSE

The most vibrant preset of the Wildflower Meadow pack, while still keeping a softer look throughout

CUCKOO FLOWER

For pink-lovers like myself

BRISTLY BUTTERCUP

Stronger reds and oranges to make warmer hues pop

WILD MINT

Minty effect for a verdant and rural look

SEA LAVENDER

Warmer tones for that feeling of a summer afternoon

SHRUBBY PIMPERNEL

Similar to Old Man’s Beard but with lighter and brighter colors

OLD MAN’S BEARD

The least saturated preset that brings every tone down to create a washed-up effect

SWEET PEA

A mellow and delicate feel to faded colors

QUEEN ANNE’S LACE

Brightens to create soft pastels while muting each tone and giving a lavender-like sky

Now let’s take a look at a few before + afters in different lighting scenarios. The first is a preview of Sweet Pea. You can see how the “after” image lifts shadows which gives a hazy, low-contrast effect.
